I loved this book so much. I loved reading the story of Carl going on his little trips of delivering books and developing the relationshipd with people

It is not what I was expecting out of this book. I thought it was going to be a story about Akhey coming out of WW2 and then coming to Australia then going into detail how he built up the toy company. Maybe it goes into that details in the second half of the book but I can't handle reading this book anymore.
I also was not expecting in the very first chapter that Adam would end up doing the deed with a teen girl. I couldn't care about adam or his wife at all or the story overall.

When reading Thuderhead, I felt like it didn't have the same charm as scythe. The whole reason I loved scythe so much was due to learning about this new world and it's concepts. So the worldbuilding pretty much.
I felt like Thunderhead had more of a forcus on the 'plot' and the charter development. But I use word 'plot' super lightly because it felt like Thunderhead didn't really have a plot to move the story forward. Or a reason why XYZ was happening or why I should care.

Omg I loved and enjoyed this book so much, it's worth the read! Straight away I already had questions from the first chapter. Every moment where I started to question the pacing of the plot, I got hit in the face with a new twist to keep me entertained!
I was craving for every new page waiting for new information
