Ok so this book got a bit more interesting compared to book 3. Mainly due to Josh following John Dee near the end of the book. I just want to see how this will work out
The Sorceress by Michael Scott

It is getting very action packed and there isn’t a lot of moments to breathe. Even though this is the third book so far it’s only been like, a week? In the timeline. Starting to get a little bored of this series because there like 3 more books and I’m worndering how is this even going to end.
It’s cool that Sophie and Josh are starting to become these overpowered people but I find it a little annoying due to they don’t really train for these powers. They just get given powers, then “oh, no. Dee has found us.” Then they run. Lay low for like 12 hours and whole thing happens again.
Kind of spoilers?
kind of annoys me that the wife lady hasn’t gotten out of that prison yet? Yes it’s only been like a week in the timeline but 3 book in I would have thought she would have gotten out by now. She kind of useless that SHE STILL STUCK there and just pisses me off.

This is probably the 3 time I've read/listened to this book over the years trying to finish the series lol. Still love it till this day. I love to contract between Josh and Sophie. Mostly how Josh is there questioning everything and doesn't blindly believe everything Nicholas says.

It was an enjoyable listen. It gave 'Alice in Wonderland' vibes a little. In terms of taking away into other world.
Not going to lie. I only picked this book up because it had a cat in it and it was booked themed lol. I didn't really look into the blurb of it. I like how it was very whimsical and it's pretty much an adventure about a boy trying to find meaning after his grandfather has died. Towards the end I thought it was getting a little tried and I just wanted it to end.
