I liked the concept of the magic involved here and wish it could have been expanded upon more. In respect to the story, I really enjoyed it. It took some turns that I was not expecting and an ending I’m sure we all saw coming but weren’t hoping for.

Scratched the itch of magical fantasy tied to present day with twists I was not expecting. It’s a slow burn but worth it to the last page.
