Minor: Fatphobia
While I don’t believe it was intended, this book has several mentions about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. In doing so, the narrative around weight loss and healthy living seemed—to me—to be extremely harsh and shaming toward overweight folks.
While I understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle, I think the mention of it in this book could have used a more holistic—rather than shaming and overly simplistic—view on health in a book not written by medical professionals.
