i wanted to like this book i really did, and to be fair i did enjoy the parts from the maids most of the time. However the constant hate towards other women from penelope simply just drove me up the wall, particularly directed towards helen. It was just over all extremely disapointing

I first read this back in 2015 but I will say I think I appreciated it more this time around since I now have more knowledge of Greek mythology. 

It is absolutely heartbreaking and I will cry everytime I read it lmao. Absolutely an all time fave though, always <3
