This book! I devoured it, its addictive, meandering narrative had me gripped and aching for an emotional salvation of sorts for the main character, and I loved the identity politics backdrop of it all.

I do love the way Coco Mellors writes about emotional states and the inner turmoil, I always find it spot on. Appreciated a particularly poignant excerpt about endometriosis pain. Minus 0.25 for a slightly rushed ending. Will still read anything this woman writes in the future.
