This was so cute!! Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun, quick read :))

I really enjoyed this! After loving this and Say You’ll Be Mine, I definitely consider Naina Kumar to be an auto-buy author for me! <3

Flirting with Disaster follows Meena, who returns to Houston to finalize her divorce from her estranged husband Nikhil, but a hurricane traps them together in their old house. 

I did get frustrated by the amount of miscommunication between the two of them but by the end I grew to understand why the two of them acted the way they did. Meena was driven by her own ambition and her parents expectations and Nikhil had his own insecurities and always wanted to put Meena first even if it meant not going after what he wanted. They definitely needed the time apart to grow in order to be better together. I’m not a huge fan of the miscommunication trope but I think it was done very well in this book. 

I loved the two of them together. Their relationship was so sweet and heart-warming. I loved how much Nikhil cared for her by putting her ambitions and career first. 

I did love how Meena’s memories were used to tell the story of their first relationship and you could tell how fondly she looked back on them. This was such a beautifully written story.
