I liked this one!! It was extremely engaging to begin with, I loved the change in scenery in a thriller. It starts with a subject study on women with a dark undertone. It caught my attention. I also really loved the way one of our point of views talked, it was so cyclical and impersonal but psycho.
I gave this a 3 star because it just kept going and going. I felt it could have been condensed a bit. I didn’t like the ending either! I wish it had way more piazza and emphasis. I wanted something super dark. I still recommend this book! I think it could be some people’s favorites.

This one has super heavy topics! If you have tigger warnings I recommend looking at those before diving in. I really liked this thriller! The multiple timelines and mysteries kept me super engaged and there was a few super suspicious people that I had to keep my eye on.
I have this a 3.5 because I found out the half of the book twist and it took so long to get to the reveal that I already knew so that was a bit disappointing! Otherwise I recommend this! Again this was is super heavy!!!

This was a cute surprise, and I'm starting to realize that I'm falling in love with women's fiction. This book reminds me of The Bodyguard and Thank You For Listening. It was real and raw and it brought me so much joy. I read this suuuperr quickly, I couldn't put it down.
I loved the way the relationship develops and how the characters work through their feelings. The refreshing thing about this, is that it isn't only about the romance and the main character doesn't even realize the love interest is attractive until half way and yet I was so intrigued.
I listened to the audio book of this for about 25% and I LOVE the audio book narrator.
I defiantly recommend this!!

Evie Dunmore’s writing just always speaks to me so well. I love her characters and how much thought she puts into the regency romances she does. They are educated and fun and spicy!!
I loved how both of these characters are so unlike but they feel magnetic. Even thought Hattie (our female lead) is overly dramatic and groomed as a very proper lady and Lucian (our male lead) is rough and from a lower class life, you feel as though as soon as they meet, it was meant in the oddest way.
I can’t wait to read more from this author with her new releases!! 🥰
