X-Men meets Dumbledore-ish
Heart warming story about a bureaucrat who had to leave his small bubble to investigate a top secret orphanage, in a world that knows and hates those who are different.
Loved the narrative and the characters, I only think that scenes towards the middle-3/4s could have had more tension or been more significant.
Other than that, it’s a lovely story.

It covers most of the basics, but I feel it might need time go into a little more detail to have a true effect/discovery in readers.
For academic or informative purposes, it’s great.

It’s hard to tell who the main character is with all the head hopping and first person POV.
It didn’t really get interesting until the last quarter of the book, but it was a really good plot twist.
Characters didn’t really have a lot of redeeming qualities until the very end, so it was hard to care about their problems.

Narrador made an amazing job keeping up with the POV changes with her soothing, clear voice

Nice narration, but characters went from being put on a pedestal and being brave to being scumbags, back to a pedestal.
The hot and cold approach to ask each other out wasn’t lovely, it ended up being annoying
