Reading this screenplay was such a delight! Obviously I have seen the movie, but it was incredibly fun to read JK Rowling's scene descriptions. She has such a way with words, which made me thoroughly enjoy reading this.

This reread took almost a month, considering that I was reading it on the side of all of my other current reads! However, it only cemented in my heart just how much I love Harry Potter. This world and these characters have captured my heart, and I'll be forever grateful for this book that started it all.

If you're an adult who loved the Harry Potter books as a child, I highly recommend giving them a reread as an adult! I absolutely loved my time rereading this book, and enjoyed pointing out all of the little scenes left out in the movies.

Dear Martin is truly a vital book for the world we live in. The pain that injustice and racism have caused for Black people is something I will never be able to fully comprehend, but I sincerely hope that, by reading books like this one, I will be able to empathize and take action for what is right.

Summary:
Windwitch was a wondrous ride full of deeply flawed yet lovable characters, wildly unique and intriguing settings, and action-packed plot. I found myself consistently surprised at the twists and turns of the story, although I must admit that some of that surprise came from wondering exactly how the events in this book were even happening. Unfortunately, I cannot say that my questions were answered in full, but I suppose that’s what the novella and third book are for! Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time reading this novel and will definitely be continuing on with the series.
