I tried reading this book several times over the past 15 years, and finally succeeded this fall. I was all in from the get go, and loved every suspenseful minute.

My favorite Hemingway.

The only book I've ever read where I prefer the movie.

I really liked this series of Tana French books.

I liked the story, although it was a bit disjointed at times and anti-climactic. It makes a half hearted attempt to be a commentary in women and identity crisis as they become wives and mothers.

Same formula as always. Reliable shelf candy. Maybe fewer laughs than on past books, but always enjoyable to me.
