I don’t really have words. This was weird but also kind of endearing? Definitely recommend the audiobook, the narrator did a great job

This is a great conclusion to the series. I’m so sad it’s over 😭 As always, it’s a quick, sweet read with the best vibes (and great spice 😏) My only complaint was the final conflict
I wish we got a scene of Cam fully putting her parents in their place instead of the fight she picks with Dusty as the third act conflict. We got to see a little at the fundraiser but I felt like was more for her to say
The bonus epilogue had me sobbing! Can’t wait to see what Lyla creates next!

India Holton’s books are the only cozy fantasies I’ll read. They are low stakes without being boring. The storyline is constantly moving and it is jam packed with adorable (and hilarious) banter!

This started out ok and then went completely off the rails. There is no contemporary romance in the world that needs to be over 350 pages. And the chapters?! Why am I 20% into a book and already on chapter 50? There is no need to start another chapter just so we can switch POVs for two sentences. It’s so stilted and annoying. You can change POVs within a chapter, trust your readers, we won’t get lost.

I just love Emilia’s story telling. The prose are so lush and haunting. I love the bonds she builds between the characters and across timelines. The audiobook was so well done, I highly recommend listening to it on audio if you are able!

This was sweet but I struggled to connect with it. I liked their banter, Sybil is so funny, I just didn’t feel any chemistry between them. Kieran was so hot and cold at times, I struggled to connect with his character. The ending was a bit of a mess for me too.

A beautifully written story about how forgetting our past puts us at risk of repeating it.

I will never get of the “Mama” stuff 🤢 gave me the ick and took me out of the story which is a bummer because it was really sweet.

This one was fine, didn’t capture the magic of the first book but wasn’t bad.
