I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook version on CD & thoroughly enjoyed it. By the time i got a ohysical copy I was 80% through. Tova, cameron & marcellus were amazing to follow. In the end it worked out for everyone. My favorite chapter was when he cussed lol if you know you know. The sacrifices made by a remarkably bright creature. I did not like that Terry was voiced by a white woman with not even a hint of a jamaican accent. As a jamaican I am offended (but still enjoyed the story overall)

I felt so connected to their queer black guys. I follow the stars. I have had to be the one to support others. I too am a cat mom (recently). Relating to the characters kai & elite as well as the author. As a queer black woman it's healing to read about love just as i have so many times in the hetero lense. This boy love story took me by surprise and made me laugh and smile.

I wanna shout out mary beth for encouraging me to continue this series. It makes me so incredibly proud to start this series now at this time in my life, at 24, when I needed it most. I can't wait for the next movie. I can't wait to finish the series. I hope one day we can do the georgia simonverse tour.
Leah Burke is me but so much spicier. Her raw feelings I have felt. She deserves the world all of creekwood does except the prejudice people. I wanna be like leah well in the end when I grow up. I'm on the offbeat!

I have never really heard of loas refugees of why. These stories almost feel nonfictional. I related to many moments and I wanted to know more about some of them. It reminds of of the movie "the things you couldn't tell by looking at her". I truly enjoyed this book.

I love this black African vampire story. It's unapologetically soaked in rich ethiopian and African history and culture. I am kidan adane. I love her and everything she did. I will finish this series ancestors willing.

There are like 5 pov and the ending is very confusing especially if there is no book 2. The queer element is present and the world building kept me reading.

I really wonder how many books this series plans to have. I do not appreciate kiar mother at all. Overall this book 2 was even more interesting than book 1 in regards to villan and conflicts. I wonder what or if the next book will be.

This is my first time reading from this author and I really enjoyed this world. It was very progressive fantasy with queer relationships not being abnormal and the use of words like panic attack made me laught. I would check out book 2. Thanks for the advanced copy.

Sierra you did it again. I love these stories. My one quip is the mention of bipolar disorder can be taken offensively and needed to be expounded on and explained clearer.
