I got a third into this book and decided to put it down. I couldn't get into it and I couldn't relate to the main characters. I found the writing stuffy and my mind wandered all the time - I would find I had read 5 pages but had been thinking about other things. I found the whole thing exhausting.

I really wanted to enjoy this book as I loved Never Let Me Go so much but I think this one was very much style over substance.

I love Tony Parson's other books but was hugely disappointed in this one. I found the main character unlikable, unrelatable and a bit of a twat.
