Not sure what I was really looking for in the first mystery novel I've read since picking up reading as a hobby again, but it was certainly not this mess of a book. Each half of the book is truly different from the other. Personally, I found the first half to be more immersive and the second to fall short. It's interesting to learn about all the different characters and their connections to the case until you realize they're two-dimensional. Even our main character lacks personality. Easily a forgettable read.

when does it get good...?

im starting to think thirteen reasons why (tv series) had better writing than this.

read for english 3. i've never read the story of adam and eve but i think delia and sykes is better anyways.

you know... if i wanted to hear random stories, life advice, and the trauma of a cis white man, i would have just talked to my ap psychology teacher instead.

spiders making me cry but for different reasons

i grew up with this story, it will always have a special place in my heart for that reason.
