The Angel's Cut by Elizabeth Knox

Absolutely fantastic. Even better than the Vintner's Luck. Oh how I hope there's another.
Goodnight by Susie Tate

A great read as with the others of this series. I probably would've read it all last night had I not had an early start today. The only slightly unbelievable thing was Anya's dealing with the squatters.
Still, all in all bloody brilliant. Bring on number 5!

A truly horrific crime spree. This book pulls few punches
The Orenda by Joseph Boyden

Fascinating if brutal
This has been a disturbing read at times but very powerful. Originally I intended 5 stars but dropped one due to the slightly disjointed narrative in places and the feeling that it ended too soon. However the descriptive forces within the story have me wanting to learn more about the Wendat.

Elvis Has Not Left the Building by J.R. Rain

A very entertaining little book. The far-fetched issue isn't that Elvis may have faked his own death but that he became a pretty decent PI.
Ruth's First Christmas Tree by Elly Griffiths

A nice quick story that I read whilst donating blood. No murder but all the usual characters
Danse Macabre by Laura M. Hughes

Interesting little tale. Can imagine it potentially being expanded or continued.

Angels, Demons and stilettos
Damn. Now I'm going to have to buy the next one.
Although the bond-Guardian Angel stuff is a little trying, I wasn't expecting the twist towards the end.

Unexpected twist
Enough truth and historical fact but still a rollicking good story.
Have the second book to read but as always with such books, am first going to do some research.
