I read this book for Halloween. Took me a bit longer than I liked.
The writing is a bit too poetic for me, but I do see the appeal. And the influences of this in Stephen King’s work are clear.

I will give this another go at some time.

The audio was very good. Again a nice story, but the tea about publishing might have been a bit overshadowed by the rest.

It could also be I just expected more about what publishing is like from other reviews.

Anyways, solid Kuang novel as always!
