This is potentially the most charming romance novel I have ever read. I could not put it down.

3.5 stars! This was a quick read for me. I liked it. It felt like YA written for adults, which was exactly what I needed in the moment. I'd suggest it to anyone, as long as you aren't expecting a weighty tome. It was a four star book for me, honestly, until the last little bit where the author felt the need (thru the narrator) to summarize the point of the book. That felt a little ham-handed and unnecessary to me. (Although, reading the reviews here, where some people complain that the way rape was dealt with was incorrect or whatnot, makes me think that maybe the author had a point in making the subtext text.)

This was the perfect book for me to read in this moment. I loved it.

The movie is better. The movie.... is perfect.
