i’m literally on the verge of giving this five stars omg i loved every second of it. the mmc reminded me so much of Aaron and my god did i love that series. this was wayyy more plausible as a story than the first one and i loved their love story, the book literally checks out all of the boxes for my fav book. i dont know if ill reread it tho cuz shatter me ruined me forever nothing will ever come close to the high i felt reading that book.

This was absolutely diabolical, i dont know why i subjected myself to this torture. Like it was entertaining but it felt so forced at times like there was no reason he suddenly became interested in her, and the dirty talk was ABHORRENT I WANTED TO DIE. The story made sense ig and i liked how much he cared for her and how much he opened up to her only cuz im a sucker for that trope, but i was so insanely bothered by the fact that it made no sene to me why his feelings suddenly changed that it ruined the whole book for me.

this was even worse than the first one so i have to give it lower than 3 stars. the main characters were so annoying like bro if you got daddy issues thats fine no need to mention it every two fucking seconds. they were so pick me oml i was gonna lose it. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE DIRTY TALK. it was soooo unbelievably cringe. i actually laughed out loud yet again. the whole story has no real third act climax of a fight cuz these hoes are so uninteresting with no personality except being either incredibly loud and oversharing to the point when its overbearing or so shy🥺 that they couldn’t even fight over anything of real value. lowkey a waste of my time if i hadnt had found this on spotify i never would have read it.

It’s a fine listen for when you’re doing something but it’s kinda just a rehashing of the first story but a bit darker. The whole premise kinda got tiring after the first couple of chapters.
