Roberta feels like a mix of Sally Rooney’s FMC and Greta from “Big Swiss” with how hard she tries to be liked by those close to her. Leaning heavily to Greta. Also, if you’ve had any history with disordered eating, this book may not be for you.

A really great book despite Rafie being very annoying and conceited at times.

I really would’ve liked more character development from Rey though. Rey kind of fell flat a few times for me and I felt there were numerous times to expand a bit more.

Overall though a great book.

Great writing but man, it made me despise the sport of f1 more than Guenthers books & “The Formula” did with how they treat support staff and how much these people sacrifice with family.

IVE TRIED FOR A MONTH. I’m not excited to pick this up. I’m bored. It took me until Gollum showed to be interested and just as quickly as I got interested, I got bored again. I’m sorry to those who love these books but it’s not for me.

A great intro into feminist writing but I really thought this book would be more thought provoking. Instead it is just kind of there and isn’t really profound for me with the writing and things written about (maybe aside from how much less women are paid than men in Korea).

Far too academic of a text to endure in audiobook format. Even though it it a short text it is dense and is better to be read physically and allow yourself to sit with and think through the chapters.

Maybe it’s me but this book hit too close it home and in a way I didn’t like. I felt like things could’ve been explored more and it felt incomplete to me.
