I enjoyed some parts of this manga. The art style was beautiful. The only problem I have with this manga is the lack of consent. This seems to be a pattern in BL manga/manhwa. I wish the authors of these stories would understand that just because it’s BL and fictional characters doesn’t mean that consent doesn’t matter.

I really enjoyed this book; it took me way longer than expected to finish, but nevertheless, I enjoyed it. There were a few things that I disliked about the story itself and how it was written. I wish Ali Hazelwood had gone more in-depth regarding Olive’s sexuality.

One major issue I had with the book is the portrayal of sex.
I don’t know what to say other than it was not well-written and quite horrible. I really dislike when characters in books engage in unprotected sex. In my head, I expected that, with both characters being in academia, they would understand the risks of unprotected sex, but I guess not in the romance world.

Ugh 🤦🏿‍♀️ I just hate the trope of ‘I’m on birth control,’ as if pregnancy is the only consequence of unprotected sex.

I listened to it on audiobook and read it digitally; I will say the audiobook made my experience more enjoyable.
