I expected to read about the general logistics of a family gap year, but this book was surprisingly spiritual and quite beautiful. Having lived in Brazil for just over a year myself, I appreciated that it took place in Brazil, but this was a beautiful reflection on taking any kind of journey to create some space and bring more meaning to life upon your return. Highly recommend.
