The synopsis of this book makes it sound like a breezy little romcom, but it is not! It's a romance, but not a comedy. It's a bit of a mystery with a slow burn romance. It's excellent overall. There were some additional storylines that really didn't need to be there.

Fiona's story and wendall's story...idk why they were included.

This is a clean romance, but there is a content warning for a past rape and ongoing trauma.

I have to say that this woman is shockingly immature! Considering she is
A) not in high school and
B) about to become a mother

I can't believe how little the baby was mentioned. The woman was like eight months pregnant and there was no talk of her becoming a mother, nothing about the man falling in love with the baby too, nothing about him ready and willing to take on fatherhood. Honestly the story would have made more sense if she gave the baby up for adoption at the end.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 0%.
I find it very icky how the mmc kept mentioning things about the fmc in high school. Like he's been pining over his high school crush for 20 years. That is weird and why I don't read these second chance romances.

I wish the kid's name and the bad guys name didn't sound so much alike. Confusing at times.
