Fairly good plot and relationship dynamic, never actually read a book that featured bird pet play but the way this book did was actually interesting

I absolutely adore this story! While yes there are some heavy and dark stuff talked about in this book, the characters truly due steal your heart. 🫶🏼

This was a pretty enjoyable story! The timeline moved quickly, with Max and Luca's relationship making a lot of progress in just four days. But while it got physically pretty quickly, the emotional connection they both started to develop around the midpoint was genuinely sweet.  If you're looking for a holiday story with steam, sweetness, and a lot of praising from the MMC's this is a great pick!
