The Trouble with Trying to Date a Murderer by Jennifer Cody

August 1, 2024: Honestly, if you're looking for a kind of unserious story with an incredibly mystery storyline with a load of paranormal elements, look no further. There's humor, banter, and sass all rolled up into a fast-paced storyline with pretty hilarious character interactions from the very beginning.
(There is also really well-written disability representation with its own twist.)

All the boys and each and every single man in the operative have my heart. THE SURVIVORS HAVE MY LIFE! I was crying during a good chunk of this book and I have no regrets!
Huge trigger warning for r*pe and suicidal thoughts, y'all you've been warned. But it's such a sweet ending and I loved Casey and Jake🫶🏼 can't wait for the rest of the boys stories!
