I would say this is a philosophical reflection not only about our planet and the environmental disasters and changes we're currently facing, it is also a reflection on humanity, our relationships and the way we treat each other.

I would also say there's a reflection on gratitude for the things we never notice we will miss.

If you want to read this to read more sci-fi, then this is not for you. I would categorize it as literary fiction, in a philosophical nature.
