This book had me at the content warning ‘bad guys being murdered in cold blood’. You know it’ll be good when it starts with that!

I didn’t think I’d laugh as much as I did reading a Mafia book, but there were so many great moments! I love Sparrow and Xaviaro, and seeing their relationship develop in the middle of the craziness that is the search for revenge. What a great book!

I love Kathryn’s writing so much! She always knows how to make me feel all the things. And they did it again with Free Fall! The slow burn between Elijah and Luke sizzles from the moment the two meet, and it’s pure fireworks when they cave! A great balance between romance and suspense, and the final third of the book had me on the edge of my seat!

I’m so happy I’ve finally started this series, this was a great first book! I loved Iris and Saint, they’re so good for each other. This story is definitely romance first, suspense/missions second, and I think the balance was great. There was plenty of stress about missions, but luckily the whole Mike Bravo team is great and they’re there for each other! On to the next!

Too cheesy for my liking, too many cliches.

So, so good! I love Colin and Anthony so much, their story was just amazing! It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, and the balance with the heavier topics was the best. I knew from just reading the dedication at the beginning that it was going to be great, and it was even better than I had hoped!
