When I pick up a Layla Reyne book, I know the suspense plot will be great. That’s exactly what I needed when I started What We May Be, and it was so good! I loved it! The romance felt a bit more like a subplot to the story, but that didn’t make it less enjoyable. Sean, Trevor, and Charlotte are clearly soulmates, they’re just amazing together!

I love Rush and Hunter so much! This was the best book in this series so far for me, it was so good! Having a brain that works different than most, can be so frustrating, and it’s amazing when someone actually tries to work with you. Just like Hunter does with Rush. They’re both such good people, and they fit so well together. Love, love, love!

I loved this book! I love the fake relationship trope, and The Husband Hoax was great. Émile and Christian were amazing together, giving each other support dealing with their family members. The friend group is amazing, the perfect found family! Can’t wait to keep reading this series, it’s so good!

What an amazing story! I was so curious about Rhys when I read Spiced Kisses last year, and he couldn’t have found a better partner than Evan! I love them so much together, and I just couldn’t stop smiling during each of their interactions. Burnout has such a big  impact on someone, and Scene Queen had the perfect balance between showing the serious nature, while keeping the story very lighthearted at the same time. It was a very steamy, very swoony story, and I really want to go to one of their drag shows now!

I voluntarily read an advance review copy of this book

It took a while for me to get back to this series, but I’m really happy I picked it up again! I love Ella and Jesse, and their story is one of beauty in a dark, cruel world. The tension throughout the book with the threats was so well done, the buildup to the third act was great, without ever overpowering the love story. So good!

This was amazing! I just couldn’t stop reading. I loved how smoothly the relationship between Rory and West developed, and they made me swoon several times. The sweet moments were so good, and they made the difficult moments great! The world isn’t a happy place, especially when you’re queer and/or do drag, and reading how cruel some people can be made me tear up. The response from everybody was amazing! Can’t wait for more books in this series! <3

I loved it! It’s always a win when I pick a K.M. Neuhold read, and this collaboration with Nora Phoenix fit that as well. Rebel and Troy are such a cute couple, and I loved the growth they both showed from commitmentphobes to slowly accepting their feelings. I loved the whole Ballsy Boys friend group, I can't wait to keep reading this series!
