Somehow knowing what’s going to happen at this end of this book makes it even sadder. Leave my poor son Harry alone let him have one person please!!!! Stop taking people from him I can’t take it anymore

I relate to harry soooo much in this book he is just so over being underestimated despite constant displays of his abilities. I get dumbledore but god i could punch him. The tonal shift in the narrative really ups the stakes in this one and it’s so good

Love Drew and her content and it is a huge feat for her to step into this space and write a really honest and genuine book. If you are someone who interacts with writings on intersectional feminism regularly this will be nothing new, and I found myself craving more of the memoir style that she sprinkled through. The unbridled love and support between her and her family was beautiful and the way she speaks about culture is so touching. Really enjoyed this and she should be super proud of herself.

So much of this makes me sad that we aren’t in the alternative timeline where Harry could live with Sirius and just be happy and SAFE !!!! Let my poor cuz be safe he just wants to learn 😭

very sad this was my first regency romance…. inoffensively boring but i’m sorry the son was what made me hate this reading experience… i understand young children can be precocious but every second paragraph does not need to include this kid, especially not in an audiobook with an impression of a young child with a poor grasp on the english language.
