The ending is a disappointment, the main character is unlikeable, and the mystery is not solved or explained in a satisfying way.

It was OK. It's very short and has a limited cast of characters, so it's easy to follow. It's one of the more lighthearted/less dark and stressful Doctor Who stories. More of a heartwarming Christmas tale type thing.

Good short story about the Doctor watching the first moon landing. The Cold War is on, so of course aliens and government shenanigans are going on, and the Doctor has to intervene.
Minor: Confinement and Gun violence
