This book would be rated 5 stars if it wasn't written by a white man who just wanted to "make a fantasy of" the Sixties Scoop. If you are going to read this book, find a way to do so without the author earning any money, and consider donating the cost instead - there are many worthy charities such as Reconcilation Canada, Orange Shirt Society, Legacy of Hope Foundation, or the Indian Residential Schools Survivors Society. Also, read up on what the inspiration for this book was and re-examine what you're reading through that lens.
