The Bands of Mourning by Brandon Sanderson

It was a very interesting reading, at first I wasn't sure where it was going. However, I enjoyed the fact that there was a slight mystery about what was happening. I loved following Wax and Wayne, to see how the word has changed since the first Mistborn Trilogy.

Reading this surprised me in many ways. That the fact that there were some twists that I didn't expect to happen. In parts it made me worry that something bad was going to happen to one of the main characters.

As I was reading this book as part of a read-along with a group of friends I was excited to get to this book to find out how the series was going to end. It surprised me with how it had ended. Whilst I was reading it, I got through many emotions, sometimes I may have got annoyed at times at certain characters. However, at the end of reading the book, I was happy and relieved to see how it ended. I could see how much the characters had changed throughout the series.

I was excited to jump back into this world following the three sisters who know about magic. As they were already happy about the fact they broke the curse previously. However, nothing would be so simple if nothing happens. But I loved the fact that they had to go on another journey to claim their young sister back. It was interesting to read as it had an adventure moving. I was glad that it was still a fast paced book, I'm looking forward to being able to find out what happened to them moving forward.

I absolutely loved this book. I loved the character development also I loved the fact you could see what was happening to the wider world not just to Alina. This book has made me loved the series more. I am excited to read the final book in the trilogy.

I am glad that I got a chance to read an eArc of this book from NetGalley (Thank you to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op). All thoughts and opinions are my own. The writing I loved as it carried the story and the plot. And for the length of the novel, I am happy that I could read it in a day. I didn't want to put the book down. I loved the plot throughout the story. It kept me wanting to find out what would be happening next. Seeing the character relationships develop through the story made me interested in what would happen between them. It didn't go in the direction that I thought it would go in. I am excited to read the next book in the series to find out what happens next.
