I loved this book, the character development, and how they seemed to grow as a character I enjoyed. The plot I was invested in from the start, wanting to know what was going to happen to the characters.

I love this book. Even though I may be slightly annoyed at the ending (not in a bad way). The ending has made me want to have the next book already. There were so many twists and turns that I didn't expect. I'm excited to see what Jamie Littler has planned for the third book.

I am glad that I read this book. I loved the idea of the fact that there is a group of people that travel around in flying ships, but also that there is an academy dedicated to sky sciences. But also the fact that there once was a section for earth science that had started to be abandoned. Following Quit as the main character finding out information through his mind is quite intriguing. After the ending of this book, I want to find out what is going to happen next as I am not quite sure what could exactly happen. Which is the exciting thing as it makes me want to find out what may happen next.

For this book, you are following Ross Poldark in Cornwall 1783 to 1787. Ross has come back from a distant war in America. Where he returns to his land and his family. He originally expects a warm and celebrated welcome for his homecoming but this changes as he receives some unexpecting news. Whilst he tries to make his home back to the way it once was before he left for war, he ends up rescuing a child who he later employs.

As I was reading this, I found it interesting the fact that there were mentions of historical events which made it very intriguing. Getting to follow Ross and see the fact Britain in a different era is quite fascinating. there is something about that which makes me want to read more.

After the events in the first book, we are still following Spensa, who is a part of the colony on the planet that is still fighting the Krell, to try and get off the planet that they are on. I enjoyed reading this book, as it gave more details regarding the fact that there is so much going on. Let alone it helped to get to find out more information regarding the world and politics. Also to find out why everyone seems to be attacking the world the humans are living on.
