I am shocked that I liked it tbh…
I didn’t know half of the time if anything was real or we just had an unreliable narrator and that kept me very interested.
Very gory though. Do not go into it without looking at the trigger warnings

I usually like a weird ending, but I’m not too sure I liked this one…

Literally could have done a trope drinking game with this one. Might continue on for the world and the slowburn because it is SLOW.

Fun for a middle grade but I didn’t like the mystery aspect of it
Die Suche nach dem Wunschzauber by Chris Colfer

Did not finish book. Stopped at 55%.
I was sooo trying to get into it, thinking it’d be an easy read in German because it’s supposed to be a middle grade book. But most of the time the plot was so stupid I was questioning my language comprehension.
I usually love middle grade, but this is kind of insulting to a child’s IQ.

I didn’t love the romance as much as I did in her other books but damn this one hit close to home with the overarching themes of friendship and change. I forgot I was reading a romance book at some points. Might be my second favourite Emily Henry book tbh
