This is my least favorite of the HP franchise films, and now I see why. The movie is never as good as the book, of course, but the film just does this book a true disservice. I understand the books are long and the film can’t fit every little detail, but a lot is left out that make the character portrayal seem rather disingenuous on screen.
Sirius’ Black portrayal in the books is so much more enjoyable because Rowling actually paints him as a rather flawed, rugged and emotionally damaged man. Which he is. I think Sirius’ character is my favorite part about this book because it seems much more sincere and real.
Same goes with Harry.. I found myself at many points in this book not really liking Harry all that much. I got rather annoyed with him and his emotional outbursts and anger issues, but they felt sincere. He’s a teen, who has the world on his shoulders due to no fault of his own… and his life is constantly in turmoil just for being who he is. I think the films tend to heroize him heavily whereas the films show him in every light. The good, and the bad.
The occulemency scenes in particular with Snape were intriguing, and Dumbledore is an entirely different character in the novels. I loved Michael Gambon on screen (may he rest in peace), but I can finally say, the people who have been shouting over the years that Richard Harris (also rip) gave the most accurate portrayal of the legendary wizard, are absolutely correct and just.
Overall, I give this a 4.75. It got a bit slow for me toward the end. Some of the scenes such as with Cho I could’ve done without, as I found them unnecessary and rather un enjoyable.

Fifty Shades Freed by E.L. James

So.......
I was EXTREMELY disappointed in E.L. James. I absolutely loved Fifty Shades of Grey and Fifty Shades Darker. (Darker was my favorite) The problem I have with this book is that she rushed everything together. ****beware of spoilers***** I feel she threw all these things at Christian and Ana that she should have waited to write another book for. They just met each other a couple of months ago, then they get married, and all of a sudden Ana is pregnant. That ruined it for me, and Christian I would say. The time frame is not enough for me to accept that she is already pregnant. They haven't even been together that long. I personally think the author went too far in this book. She should have wrote at LEAST one more book to have them start a family. Christian had to pretty much give up his Dom lifestyle and now its all about the kids. Don't get me wrong he is a fantastic parent and I'm glad to see how much he grew in these few months but it was too early. Did not like this book nearly as much as the first two.

I really enjoyed this book because we got to know more about Noah and how deep his feelings for Delaine really were. It had a great ending but I'm personally not one for sappy endings. I would have liked for a third book to get to know them better but all in all this was a wonderful book and the sex was great haha. 5 stars!!

I enjoyed this book even though it is not what I thought it was going to be. I hoped for more steamy scenes than we got... but the ones we were privileged to have were HOT. I personally thought the book was too predictable but that's probably because I have read A LOT of books similar to this one. Regardless, this book will capture your heart. I wouldn't say this was a book I couldn't put down, because I did get bored sometime when Dallas and Carmyn were apart because I felt the author made that too long but I understand why she did. I really emotionally connected with the characters and actually cried (happy and sad) during this book. I rated this 4 stars just because the book needed a little more to it. But all in all I don't regret reading it, because it was good.
Let me sum up the story for you without spoiling it.....(but beware incase you don't want to know the plot...)
1. Carmyn is dating Becker (has been for a long time)
2. Carmyn walks in on her ass hole of a boyfriend ramming into a girl and she leaves
3. Ava (her roommate/bff) demands she get a rebound guy and just forget Becker
4.Carmyn meets Dallas at a Frat Party
5.They get hot and heavy and swear it's a one time thing
6.They kinda start dating I guess
7. Something really bad happens to a character
8. Happy ending
***That does it all with out spoiling it***
But there is a lot of drama in the book that goes with the thing I listed. And the drama makes it really good!! Just wanted to let you know what your to expect. I read other reviews where people said there was cheating in the book... there definitely is no cheating other than the first chapter where Becker cheats on Carmyn but that is told in the book summary... So no cheating on Dallas or Carymn's part. ENJOY!!

Let me just say....
DAMN WHERE CAN I GET A REECE????
This book was hot, captured my attention, and made me want to never put it down.
One thing I liked about this book, even though there was a love triangle, I never hated one of the guys. I obviously wanted her to choose Reece but I liked Hunter as well. But Reece, whoooohh he made me swoon reading how he looked. This is a great quick read. 5 stars.

I seriously can't get enough of this series. This book had plenty of drama, friendship, and romance in it. I loved it. You really get to see Galen and Emma's relationship develop. Everything you learned in the first book also comes into play and makes more sense in the second book. I love Galen's personality. He loves Emma unconditionally. Such a great read! I read the sea monsters memoir series before this and if you haven't read that series and you liked this one, you will love that one! But this was an amazing book.
