i read this for school so i truly wasn't passionate about it, i still have to watch the movie, maybe that will change things.

truly love this series, i haven't read it in almost two years. But as I was walking around my school library, i saw this and I missed cardan (even though the ending of book two was so UGHGH). No book series can make me feel this way. The author is truly amazing at what she does. The writing style, the character development, the climax, and EVERYTHING. the way she writes is amazing, The only reason why I didn't give this book 5 stars is because I wanted to know more about Cardan and Jude's relationship. I know this series isn't focusing on the relationship but rather than the politics. But i still wanted more cute moments because i love them too much.

Words can't explain my love to this books. The writing, the characters, the settings, the depth. OMG.

This book made me scream, blush, rage, and everything in between. I was reading it in class and I had to leave to the bathroom TWICE because I couldn't stop making face expressions and I didn't want anyone seeing me being goofy 💀💀.

I loved Remy, Henry, Addie, and Luc... he's toxic but sometimes he made me blush 😔.

I wouldn't necessarily call this booked a romance story, but it is somehow. The book starts of really slow but speeds up at the end so if you started reading it and feel like it's taking forever, don't stop and try to finish it. 

I absolutely hate the last chapter, like what is she and luc together now? Like I get that he's the dEviL but I still wanna see how hot he is in a relationship. Also what did Addie do?? Like the foreshadowing at the end made no sense to me ad I wanna see if her plan worked or not.

This is my first comic I've ever read (other than the Amulet series when I was 12 💀). It was pretty funny, I read it in school and I finished it in less than an hour. I never watched marvel movies other than the Spiderman series (all of them). So I feel pretty dumb when people talk about marvel all the time, I might get more marvel comics, idk. I'm pretty disappointed at what Marvel is doing now so idk.

I liked Emmitt, but this whole book was pretty slow at the start but then was rushed so quickly at the end. I usually love happy endings, but this book's ending seemed so unrealistic. 


I totally understand her family situation because we all are in it tbh. I just hoped that the character would be more connected to Allah and her culture, but I understand people do struggle with finding that connection, especially living in the west.

Emmitt was a super likable guy but I somehow felt disconnected from him and the whole book.

But I did manage to finish it which is good because recently I have been so unmotivated to read.

It was okay. Definitely not the best but not the worst.

Yeah... I couldn't finish it. I just don't like cheaters, and it bothered me so much that he kept flirting and talking to her while he was in a relationship.

I can't really describe how I felt reading this book. I always and I mean ALWAYS read romance books, so I thought this would be great because of the title. But that's not the case, this book is more about Olive's relationship with herself and her father who left her for 8 years. The plot twist was insane, Jenna's writing is beautiful. And I love how her characters have gray areas. Theo was a cutie. If you want a book with a cute, innocent teenage relationship, then this might not be for you. One thing I noticed about Jenna's writing is that the relationship is only a subplot in the books. AMD IT TAKES FOREVER FOR THEM TO CONFESS. This is a SLOWWWW BURN. But I truly loved it, and I hope I can read more of her projects.
