This is a great book. In less than a 100 pages, Ta-Nehisi Coates explains the experience of growing up in a society that seems inherently unfair and which does not divide its people based on skin colour, but on the belief of having a particular skin colour. It's gripping, eloquent and visceral. Despite falling far outside the intended audience, it made me empathize and understand a situation often portrayed in not much more than headlines and hashtags.

Short, but very well written. A discourse on the dangers of religion without becoming militant or ignorant. Very good.
