Very unique read for the start of the year. Dual protagonists with distinct characteristics and written by 2 different authors is very unique experience. Never been a big fan of love stories but this one hits the mark perfectly up my alley.

This book starts out to be a normal character redemption adventure story with standard DND character setups. The messaging of adventuring business was extremely unique from the start. The economics and business way of style which was very close to our modern life of capitalism. This book hit much more effective story when the last quarter got the story darker than expected. Didn't expect this story to be very serious in the broad aspects and it ends extremely well in the end.

Late read pick of the year interested in reading a fantasy political series. Recommended by book-tuber Petrik, well paced book with excellent plot line and characters. Good start to the series and expecting it to be much more gritty and darker as it progresses. Have high expectation out of the next 2 books of this series.

One of the most whackiest manga reads of the year. The story goes for the most extreme twists, but it also makes perfect sense in the overarching plot and characters. This manga is for 18+ and the story treats you that way. Brilliant conclusion to the last stretch of the manga series which, I was able to blaze through within the week. Manga for someone who wants a slow burn mystery, fantasy, horror and perfect tie-ups to all plot points.
Artificial Wisdom by Thomas R. Weaver
Quick paced thriller which starts with sci-fi elements close to our time period. My expectations were kind of higher feeling it would be a political thriller throughout. The middle part of it kind of moved towards a murder mystery than the overall focus of the story. The characters were extremely well done. But overall the book leaves with lot of question for the plot. The discussion of AI or influences of it were extremely well said. Brilliant narrator in Steven Pacey. There is a sequel plans for this and I agree this needs some answers. The mystery of it had an issue of it being too easy to figure out who the main culprit was. The last twist in the end was not expected.

I would consider this a close best book read of this year for myself. As a non fiction I would put it close to Working: Researching, Interviewing, Writing by Robert.A Caro read this year as well. The book starts out slow with author's experiences and her patients lives told in a intertwined story of meaning and self discovery. Each of the person's story added to the weight and the last quarter of the book was extremely heart warming and emotional with its life lessons. This book also got me out of a reading slump with its quick paced story telling.

The completion of this book also leads to good stretch of reading after a strenuous year overall in life and reading. The book overall is completely different story compared to the three book before it. We have newer perspectives, new characters in the game and entirely different story line. If expecting a high after Book-3 this books isn't for people. This book is setting up an entirely new chess board and players and if and when this series gets over the payoffs will come.

Fun, quick and interesting plot with good story. Well narrated by Wil Wheaton. The setup and pacing of the book was just perfect, it is like a popcorn flick which deserves to have its movie with its fun characters and humour.
