Not the usual rockstar romance but simply great, I love the real struggles Rock gets into in his home town. Not everything is easy for a rock star struggling with his own demons.

Wow, I just found a new top favorite YA series for me, I definitely loved it, got myself a new book boyfriend and well a new fav author as well, will keep on reading the rest of the books in the series. The audiobooks are amazing, the narrators did an amazing job and I definitely recommend them.

Bennett and Annalise, what a story, I can't deny I am a Vi Keeland fan, I can one-click on everything she writes and this book has become one of my favorites of her. The chemistry of the characters, the realistic everyday life struggles and hot steamy sex is always amazing. But now Bennett will show Annalise what a douche can a guy be, meanwhile Bennett will learn forgiveness and that any truth will always be better than lies. Nothing will seem to be what you read at first hand, you will find yourself getting more invested in the story while trying to uncover who Bennett Fox really is.

I love Mariana Zapata and her slow burn stories, the audiobook was just as amazing as the book.

Owen gave up being part of the team for his family and for this he lost the trust of the team. He had an allergic reaction that left him scarred and memory loss, so he doesn’t really know what happened beside what he has been told, making this very difficult for him. Becca is a challenge while trying to prove his loyalty to the team. Becca being a very naughty geeky scientist leads everything into a great story.

I enjoyed this book very much, I love hockey romances and this book was everything. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series I am still missing.

Elle Kennedy is known to be one of the most talented writers for sport college romance in her Off-Campus series. In the Briar U series she started it with a bang on The Chase, but let me tell you that The Risk has kicked it and set a bar higher. I was anticipating this book since I finished The Chase. Brenna is the daughter of Briar U hockey coach and she gets involved with the rival team from Harvard, making her life difficult, but when she finds herself in a job predicament she gets herself a fake boyfriend, but not only the fake is the problem, she goes with Jake Connelly, no other than Harvard’s hockey team captain and best player in the league, who has all eyes on him for the next big league. The chemistry is undeniable, the sparks fly everywhere but can been rivals become an impediment or can they find a way to be together? The friendship, romance, steam is all there. The Risk is a book I wasn’t able to put down at all, I had to read it all through the end. I can’t wait for The Play, it can’t come soon enough. A five star must read.

Hot slow burn, I love all Mariana Zapata's books, her romance is slow but it keeps you on the edge. This book was a bit like Cutting Edge, with Ice Castles, and just the perfect type of hot book boyfriend in between. The audiobook is very well narrated and I do recommend it.
