One Twisted Lie by Addison Beck

One Twisted Lie (One Lie Book 3) by Addison Beck
❤️ Enemies to Lovers
❤️ 'King' of the school vs Tech genius
❤️ Dom/Sub dynamic
❤️ Dirty Talk
❤️ Boarding School
Ozymandias Clark and Carter Everett have been rivals since the first day they met. With their families businesses in competition and their parents hatred towards each other, it has always been natural for Ozymandias and Carter to act as enemies. However, after they share an unexpected and heated kiss, their passionate hatred towards each other soon twists into passion fueled lust.
One thing this book definitely doesn't lack is spice. Ozymandias and Carter dive right into the action, instinctively taking on Dom/Sub roles. Carter is a boy genius who is constantly working on his laptop or has his nose buried in a book. Though Carter is usually quiet and calm, being around Ozymandias brings out the dominant, authoritative side of him, making him crave control over Ozymandias. Ozymandias is feared by his peers for his powerful presence and family name. Despite being dubbed the 'King of Kings' at school, he naturally bows to Carter's dominance, submitting to being his 'princess' and relishing in letting go of always being in control.
As all three books in this series are set on the same timeline, there is an overlap of events which makes this story more enjoyable if you have read the previous books. I did think the small time jumps in the story were quite jarring and found that you do need to suspend reality a little bit to fully embrace the wildness of some aspects of the storyline.
I really enjoyed both of the previous books in the One Lie series (One Lovely Lie and One Manic Lie) and Ozymandias and Carter's story was the perfect ending to tie the series all together.
