These two really cute novellas are a great addition to Eden's Famous series. Both were quick paced and had elements of instalove which suited the characters and storylines. I'm really glad we got to see both Cash and Sebs love stories.
The Faker Rulebook - Baylin Crow (Boyfriend Rules 1) βββββ
"Rule #22 Stay by my side. For-fucking-ever"
This was my first book by Baylin Crow and I have to say I was far from disappointed! The story follows Rook & Noah from meeting at 12 years old and becoming best friends to their senior year in college where they fake being boyfriends for Noah's brother's wedding. I loved the best friends to lovers trope in this book and the winter wedding setting makes it a perfect read for this time of year! Rook and Noah's friendship is so strong throughout the book and I loved the sweetness between them when they finally took the plunge and got together. This will be a definite re-read for me
4/5 I loved this book even more than the first, mainly due to the relationships between the main and secondary characters. Kaylee is adorable and I loved all her interactions with Ryder and Lyric who are just perfect together. This was possibly my favourite book of the series!
4/5 Mason and Denver are ultimate friends to lovers. I really felt Denver's longing for Mason and loved when they finally embraced and forgave each other for the past.
"It feels like the entire reason you and I exist is so we can be together.β This became my favourite quote of the series and is so completely Mason and Denver.
CW: addiction (alcoholism), suicidal thoughts and death (of a secondary character)
3.5/5 This story, although sweet and very different from the other four books ended up being my least favourite. Blake and Jordan's relationship felt rushed towards the end compared to the other couples, it almost seemed like they missed a step and more focus was put on the band as a whole rather than the main couple. The characterization and the relationships between all the band members in this book though was fantastic and produced a lot of funny moments. I also loved the cameos from Ash and Max! Overall a satisfying end to the series.
