This book DESTROYED Me. I definitely cried in my car on my lunch break because of this book,

The beginning was a bit slower than I would have liked but it all unraveled in a way I wasn't expecting.

It's currently 11:30 p.m. and I need to be up at 5:25 am. I'm ANGRY I have to go to bed instead of reading.

love this book. It's world building is solid but not so complicated that it gets hard to follow, and I adore the characters.

What really sold it as a five-star book for me is the fact that I was able to read it twice in six months and I loved it both times.

This was a fairly solid little poetry book, and I think I actually recognized one of the poems from a video by Button Poetry (who I think also published this or something?)

Overall, I found poems mostly center on mental health struggles and lost love. Most of them are heavier, but there are a few lighter ones.

I really like several of the poems, but I found most were in a style that I'm not overly fond of.

I'm not a diehard Dolly Parton fan, but I did enjoy hearing about her life and her songs.
I don't know how much of it will stick in my brain 🥲 but it was a nice little read (or listen lol), and I got some new music out of it too!

I don't typically read nonfiction books, but this book was mentioned in a video AClockworkReader's YouTube channel and I figured I'd try it.

I really appreciate how Bell Hooks writes this book. It's easy to understand, and it's still very thought provoking.

I listened to the audiobook from a local library, but ended up purchasing the Kindle version to make highlights.

Overall I highly recommend this book for anyone who would like an introduction to Feminist politics that is thought provoking but still easy to understand.

I blasted through Fourth Wing when I read it and I was super excited to read this one.

The first half of the book was a bit slower than I liked, but the second half practically EXPLODED.

I'm going to loose my mind waiting for the next book 😭

I didn't realize when I got it from Libby that it was a middle-grade book, I was looking for poetry lol. As much as I like the idea of it, it's too kiddish for me to enjoy :/
