Heartbreaking. So effective and an incredibly valuable reminder of where we've come from and how necessary it is to continue to fight racism in this country.

I can appreciate the definite genius of Borges' stories, but that doesn't mean I enjoyed reading them. There were a few that drew me in more than the others.

Can you really give Emma anything less than five stars? Austen was just a genius.

Great story, really kept me guessing, but the quizzes were weird and there was definitely a political slant to the author's writing.

Poetic writing with a captivating story, this reminded me of the kinds of books I loved as a youth, although it was certainly not a kids' book.  It was a sort of Little House on the Prairie for grownups, but just beautifully written.
