I loved this. It gave me the same feel as A Strange and Stubborn Endurance but in space. I loved both Kiem and Jainan and they had such a good dynamic.

Beautifully written and heartbreaking to read. I think this will pave the way for more children of family vloggers to come forward

This one is better than the first but it was entirely too long.

Overall I thought this was a solid YA fantasy. I love how the folklore was woven into the story. I also enjoyed the stylistic choices of the prose for each characters POV. Having Laya's POV be written in verse gave her an appropriately slightly feel.
I did think parts of this story were rushed and I found Laya to be a frustrating character. The only reason anything got done in this book was because of Liba.

This book was simply incredible. I was enthralled from start to finish. The world is so unique and Ophelia is a refreshing female main character. The constant twists and turns were exciting. I can't wait for book two to arrive at my house.

This series is just banger after banger. My only problem with this one is the same as with the second, it's just a little slow in parts.

I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.
While I can see that the author is passionate about this story and did a lot of research unfortunately this book really fell flat. I was bored the entire time and the dialogue itself was atrocious.
