I enjoyed this a lot! It's definitely the beginning of a whole new trilogy rather than just being a continuation of a series. The pacing and general story echos Phedre's first book a lot while still feeling wholly it's own. I'm excited to see where Imriel's story goes.

This was cute af. It was light and fluffy at times and incredibly heartfelt at others. I will admit I think some parts felt too easy for the characters. I think this book could have stood to be another 100 pages longer to really flesh out all the concepts and characters. But even with that I still really enjoyed it.

This book was super cute. I adored both Sirin and Berne and loved the writing style with the chapter descriptions and footnotes. What kept this from being a 5 star read is it was way too short and the ending felt so abrupt! I could have done with another 100 pages of these two!
Also I still have so many questions about the world.

Thanks Angry Robot for the free copy!
This was an interesting read, made for a good pallette cleanser. It has an interesting concept but didn't hit quite the way I wanted it too, I think it could have stood to be a tad slower paced so that it really built the tension.
Overall though I enjoyed the read and had a good time.

The wait for this book was absolutely worth it. I feel like this 4th book firmly put this series where it needs to be: a mixture of high fantasy and erotica.
Having both Olbiric and Dom as alternating viewpoints made it hard for me to put the book down as I was equally enthralled by both their stories. Also it was nice to see Dom deal with some tougher stuff this book when it's felt like things have mostly come easy to him in previous books.
I also loved seeing so much more of the world in this series and how different countries handle wizards and gender and what not.
All that said I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment.
