The ending felt a tiny bit rushed. But I do understand that endings can be hard. You have a big reveal and then gotta figure out how to nicely wrap it all up in a satisfying way.
Overall it was a really nice quick read. I enjoyed the relationships between characters. I think if anything Joss and Jerichos relationship could have progressed in a more satisfying way.

I found this to be a very easy read which was enjoyable.
I liked how the characters evolved and how the story unfolded and though at times the story beats were predictable I don’t think that harmed the book in anyways.
I find it fun when authors leave bread crumbs for the reads to piece the story together and it’s very satisfying as a reader to know that I was right and able to pick up on it all!!
Can’t wait to start the sequel!!

I did enjoy the book.
I would say if the lore about the gods was spread out more across this book and the first book it would have been a lot easier to digest and wouldn’t have felt very slow at times

I really did enjoy this book, but by the end I felt still confused about the world and what the story was wanting to be and who the focus of the story was at.
It kinda fell flat for me at the end.

I did enjoy the book a lot, I could feel and sense all the emotions. Though the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 would be because during certain parts of the book I was thoroughly confused, and at points I didn’t necessarily understand what the tone of the book was supposed to be.
Obviously since it’s inspired by Romeo and Juliet it was clearly a tragedy, but still kinda confusing…
