Oh, I got so swept up in this book. I love how Choi writes desire and sex and obsession. I love the disgust-tinged eroticism. I empathize with Regina's intense infatuation and neediness and her need to be taken seriously but the Real Adults around her, and Martha's suffocation and inability to sacrifice anything for anyone else. Incredibly real characters, amazing writing. Chef's kiss.
