Okay okay this was more of a zine than a book, but still full of good ideas and conviction.

This is an anthology, so it doesn't feel fair to evaluate all the comics together, but wow was this a standout for me! Touches on queerness, internet culture, and natural metaphors. The art style is changeable yet consistent, and the vertical spreads were breathtaking

This is part art book, part poetry, part autotheory, part dream, loved it. Can't see how it would ever be a children's book, but its such a cool take on queer theory and offers a space and avenue for all Queers and Fags and Fairies to imagine their roles in building our future together

I remember certain bits from this book, and was surprised by the throughline of climbing that strings our protagonist's memories. I loved it as a non-flashy coming of age, but it didn't blow me away.

WOW booktok did me dirty with this one. It's a sapphic slog, written like it takes place in the 1700s, not the '90s. Just weird and unmoving

Read for Sapphic Book Club, and did not enjoy. Maybe because I listened to the audiobook, maybe because it's way too long, maybe because I rolled my eyes at all the smut, maybe because it's weird to have sex with a ghost? Anyways, would not recommend

I liked this a lot more than other reviewers. Obviously it ends as if the author meant to write a second half, but the first half was pretty good lol

Read this for Sapphic Book Club, and it was fine. I really enjoyed the setting and the characters felt real, but nothing exceptional

I remember this being pretty strange, and a hard read. Like a slow-motion queer car crash
