I got this book expecting it to be suspenseful and on the edge at all times. Let's just say, it was definitely not what I thought. I had to push myself to finish it, BUT I'm glad I did.

If you don't like sad stories, don't read this book. It was a very sorrowful tale that just really made you think and question what you believe.

I enjoyed this book truly, cover to cover, though I think I would have enjoyed it more as a regular novel instead of in verse. I love poetry and I love this topic but to me there was a lot of information that just couldn't be put in a poetic form. But over all I enjoyed it.

I've watched the movie multiple times and when I had the opportunity to read the book, I was really excited. I love the plot and the characters, but I find the book had a tendency to be very repetitive. Still, a great read.
