This is the kind of story that starts out calm but the tragedy and emotion sneaks up on you. Before you know it you are complete immersed.

Interesting.  Of course some of the solution type information at the end is already out of date.  At least for anything relating to the United States.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 55%.
I hate this book.  First of all it is way too long.  But my main issue is the very descriptive rape scenes followed immediately by "romantic" love scenes.  It was jarring and disturbing.

Wow - amazing. I tried to read this last year and gave up after a few pages.  I'm so glad I gave it another try. We have many perspectives including people (some who are dead), animals, the earth and even a car. It took focus but was completely worth it. It was emotional and beautiful.

I don't like Manga but my son in law loves One Piece so I decided to read this just to get an idea of what it is. Shockingly, I kind of liked it.
